What life experiences do you carry in your suitcase? Where will you go when you take it with you? What will you take and what will you try to get rid of? Who will you meet and how will this meeting change your lives?
The performance “Suitcases” is a collection of short circus stories that will be used to create a tale about one Suitcase.
Four performers, using acrobatics, juggling, Cirque wheel and modern dance, will tell the stories of the last two years of their lives, asking themselves the ultimate questions. What will I find in my suitcase? Will it help me continue my journey in a new world, or will it cause me to freeze in place in anticipation?
An honest look, faith in life, and caring for each other form the foundation of the play and give us the strength to continue our journey.
We believe in talking about important things with children, so this play is suitable for adults and children alike.
We often invite younger children who are ready for loud, unexpected noises.
It will be very loud at the play, so we recommend it for children ages 10 and up, but the decision for children to attend is up to their parents.
