Inspired by the music of tango's Golden Age , the 1940s and 50s, the production evokes a period when the genre reached its highest artistic and popular expression. Each scene creates its own atmosphere, alternating intensity, sensuality and elegance in a dynamic and visually engaging development.
Born in the Río de la Plata, tango emerged from the encounter of European, African and local influences, creating a unique cultural identity that has transcended borders and generations.
Directed and choreographed by Marcos Ayala, the show is built as a series of independent pieces, without a linear storyline, where each scene has its own strong stage presence.
