About Kirill Richter:
Kirill Richter is one of the most prominent voices in contemporary classical music, known for his emotionally
charged compositions that bridge concert stages, cinema, and dance. His works have been performed at
venues like the Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie, and Royal Albert Hall, and featured in major events
including the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony. His music has also been featured in the Olympic performances of gure skating champions, where it became part of their gold-winning programs. He is also the author of original scores for ballets such as Seven Ages (with Marco Goecke) and collaborated on a bold reinterpretation of Handel's Tamerlano with director Stefano Poda. With his upcoming Warner Classics release Towards the Beloved City, he continues to explore the intersection of personal storytelling and
universal feeling through music.
